On-Grid System
It works parallel with the electricity grid. It has no battery storage so energy generated during daytime is used directly by the appliances.
Off-Grid System
It is not connected to the electricity grid. Solar power supplies the requirements and stores energy in the battery, which is then used during night time.
Hybrid System
It is connected to both the electricity grid and battery storage. Energy stored in the battery is used at night. When it is depleted, the grid is used as a backup.
